Blog entrée 2                                        Camila Lopezcaal                      Pd:2         Opening Credits

Opening credits are typically always in films. Alongside opening credits being used to give credit to the people involved in making the film like the producer, they are usually to show the audience the most significant people in the production. These credits are shown in the beginning of films and people usually get them confused with the closing credits, but the difference is that the ending credits show all the cast or people involved even if they were rarely involved.

In this project my short commercial will obviously have opening credits involved since it is a necessity for it. On the other hand, when it comes to a title sequence it is also a way of presenting the most important members that take part of a film except it is presented by using sound or visuals. Opening credits usually use text to present their crew. To create a title sequence, some techniques that are embedded are music, graphics and action, all being live, or in other words (in motion). In my project I will definitely be using music as a title sequence since it is what people enjoy the most now in days. While using music I will also use graphics and action since many people also are into graphics. This obviously depends on the liking of my group members so this may not be for sure. During these types of opening ways, the main actors are embedded like the protagonist and antagonist. The producer and the camera man are also some people who are in it.

Here are some examples...

In this spider man title sequence the company and some of the main people are represented by using graphic comics and music, while also being live.
